Job Summary
Monitor KPIs, program progress, and JDT targets to identify risks and improvement opportunities. Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of Japan's development activities to derive insights for performance evaluation and continuous improvement. Collaborate with Japan Program Leads, Project Managers, and cross-functional departments to support enhanced execution quality. Drive operational excellence initiatives including the JDT Excellence Forum, regional PM community, and global standard tool adoption. Streamline JDT processes and documentation to improve execution efficiency and consistency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in science or business-related field
- Experience in clinical development areas leading cross-functional departments in a program or project execution support environment
- Knowledge of clinical development and project management in the pharmaceutical industry, including the entire drug development process from discovery to clinical, approval, and post-market
- Ability to organize complex issues, prioritize, and incorporate risks into executable plans to solve problems and drive continuous improvement
- Ability to organize issues based on data and facts, interpret key metrics appropriately, and translate improvement opportunities into executable actions in collaboration with stakeholders
- Ability to introduce and establish global common project management approaches and tools for development teams to ensure consistent operations
- Collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities to work smoothly with others
- Ability to collaborate smoothly with global counterparts in English
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree in science or business fields
- Experience working overseas or collaborating in global teams
- MS/PhD, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or equivalent project management knowledge based on PMBOK
