Job Summary

Develop strategic business plans and execute institution-centric programs for key oncology Priority Accounts and Affiliated Healthcare Systems. Engage with C-Suite and D-Suite decision makers to enable account buying, generate insights into new business opportunities, and serve as the primary Oncology point of contact for executive exchanges. Co-own pre-launch strategy and manage multiple critical accounts by facilitating cross-functional collaboration, eliminating barriers, and proactively creating solutions to drive demand-generating functions. Lead effective communications between Novartis and priority accounts while adapting to strategic shifts that align with organizational goals. This field-based and remote opportunity requires residing within the Denver/Kansas City/St. Louis territory or within 100 miles of the border, with 60-80% travel capability and a valid driver's license. Salary ranges from $168,000 to $312,000 annually, including performance incentives and equity eligibility.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required from 4-year college or university
  • 8+ years' experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries with large, geographically dispersed teams
  • at least 2 different types of cross-functional roles and / or experiences
  • 2+ years' experience in project management and translation of strategy into execution
  • 2+ years' experience leading complex projects requiring cross functional and national alignment
  • Track record of exceptional performance and execution that drives results
  • Candidate must reside within territory, or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 100 miles from the territory border
  • Ability to travel 60-80% over a broad geography
  • ability to drive and/or fly within the territory
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • fully valid and unrestricted driver's license

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience calling on assigned oncology accounts
  • 3+ years' experience in account management covering Academic Medical Centers, Integrated Health Systems, GPOs and/or Large Community Oncology Integrated Networks
