Job Summary
Lead academic success initiatives within the Heckman Learning Commons by supervising student employees, overseeing day-to-day operations including evening shifts, and maintaining a direct advising caseload for at-risk students. Develop, implement, and assess retention programs while collaborating with faculty, advisors, and campus partners to remove barriers to degree completion. Manage departmental budgets, prepare strategic reports on advising outcomes, and represent the unit on university committees. This role requires a Master's degree and five to seven years of experience in higher education student affairs, with a full-time schedule and competitive benefits including tuition reimbursement and flexible work arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Educational Leadership, Counseling, or a related field
- Five to seven years of progressively responsible experience in academic advising, student success, retention, enrollment management, or a related area in higher education
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and assessment skills, with the ability to use data to evaluate student success initiatives, identify trends, and inform strategic decision-making
Desired Qualifications
- Supervisory and budget management experience preferred
