Job Summary
Lead programs and services aimed at student post-secondary success and achievement by implementing school counseling programs at each site and assessing individual needs. Hire diverse and qualified school counselors and college advisors while providing individual and group supervision and support to practicing staff. Collaborate with staff to develop progress monitoring tools and establish systems of support for students in academic, social/emotional, and college/career domains. Plan, implement, and monitor family workshops and events, and participate in meetings to advise on intervention strategies. Manage the University of California A-G Course Management Portal and support data integrity of student records and outcomes. Foster a college and career-going culture at all school sites by developing partnerships with non-school personnel and higher education institutions to augment resources available to students.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in School Counseling or related field
- Meet CA licensure and credentialing requirements in school counseling
- Minimum of three years of successful college counseling and career pathway experience
