Job Summary
Leading the design and execution of NAMI Chicago’s forthcoming 3-year Strategic Plan; overseeing strategy initiatives, project management across the agency, and coordination with leadership to ensure fidelity to mission, strategy, and tactics. This role drives coalition-building efforts, identifies strategic partnerships to advance the organization’s equity-centered mental health mission, engages internal and external stakeholders, and translates strategic goals into actionable plans with measurable milestones. Reports to the CEO and collaborates closely with senior leadership, board members, staff, and external partners to steward strategic planning, measurement, and cross-functional delivery within a nonprofit context.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of project management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Non-Profit Management or related (or equivalent work experience)
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects, strategic initiatives, or organizational priorities from planning through implementation
- Demonstrated experience of project plan implementation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, project management software, CRM systems, and other technology routinely used by organizations to support planning, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration
