Job Summary
Lead social media strategy and content planning for Wharton Executive Education and Wharton Online organic channels, including developing an integrated editorial calendar and managing themes, series, and key moments. Own day-to-day channel execution across LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube, covering classroom experiences, events, and announcements while optimizing distribution. Build collaborative relationships with MarComm and internal WEE teams to craft content that builds awareness, deepens engagement, and supports lead generation. Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance against internal goals and industry benchmarks, leading listening efforts to react to conversation spikes. Create social-first content and coordinate repurposing of approved assets, including real-time coverage of program activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Media or similar field
- 3-5 years of professional marketing and communications experience
- at least 3 years of experience managing social media for an institution, organization, media outlet, or agency
- Excellent written skills
- experience creating content for social media (e.g. capturing photos and videos; editing graphic templates)
