Associate Director of Sales - Weddings

Job Summary
Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team within the wedding and events sector; develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion; oversee the sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and prepare performance reports for senior management; customize service offerings and pricing strategies to meet client needs while maintaining profitability; build and maintain relationships with key clients, vendors, and stakeholders; conduct negotiations to secure high-value contracts; implement and optimize CRM systems and sales tools to boost team productivity; collaborate with marketing, operations, and event planning teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction; participate in industry events and client presentations to strengthen market presence; monitor team performance and provide coaching for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of progressive sales experience with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity
- 3+ years of experience in the wedding, events, or hospitality industry (preferred)
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Strong negotiation and closing skills for high-value transactions
- Proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics platforms
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Strategic thinking with ability to develop and implement effective sales programs
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business software applications
