Job Summary
Lead quality operations for nVent’s Minnesota sites, coordinating quality initiatives across Anoka, Dayton, and Blaine. Oversee supplier quality strategy, manage non-conformance resolution, and ensure compliance with quality standards. Drive the development of a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Manage Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Processes (PPAP) to integrate quality in new product introductions. Mentor a team, promote a culture of accountability, and translate quality data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree required
- 10+ years in manufacturing quality systems
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience managing multi-site quality functions
- Deep expertise in Lean principles and proficiency in Statistical Process Control
- Advanced knowledge of ISO Management systems and enterprise quality software
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree or MBA or equivalent experience
- Professional certifications such as ASQ-CQM/OE, CQE, or CQA
