Job Summary
Lead the design and continuous improvement of Zeta’s year-long professional learning curriculum for school leaders, teachers, and network staff. Develop effective professional learning experiences that align with Zeta’s mission, craft facilitator guides, toolkits, protocols, slide decks, and online courses, and ensure sessions are sequenced to drive sustained improvements in adult practice and student outcomes. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify development needs, implement high-impact learning initiatives, and analyze participant feedback and performance data to demonstrate impact. Own planning and execution of major professional learning initiatives, maintain project timelines, and communicate with stakeholders while contributing as a member of a lean, high-performing team. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and prior principal or effective AP experience; the final title and level will be determined by experience and alignment with Zeta’s framework. Hybrid work schedule with in-office Tuesdays and Thursdays and optional remote days Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in New York City area.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Current or former Principal or effective Assistant Principal (AP) experience is required
- Design and facilitate year-long professional learning experiences for adults
- Expertise in adult learning, instructional leadership, and change management
- Ability to design and refine a cohesive professional learning curriculum aligned with organizational priorities
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to identify development needs and address organizational priorities
- Willingness to wear multiple hats on a lean scale-up team and participate in cross-functional projects
