Job Summary
Own the end-to-end logistics function for the UK and Ireland, managing the full P&L for 3PLs, transport, and overheads while optimizing carrier mix for cost and service. Lead a senior team, drive improvements in OTD and cost metrics, and execute strategic crisis management to minimize disruption. Negotiate contracts with third parties, evaluate new carrier partners, and curate yearly OKRs aligned with business objectives. Collaborate cross-functionally with production, marketing, and global counterparts to reduce delivery errors and enhance customer sentiment using data and AI tools.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of demonstrable experience working with or for national B2C carriers
- Contract management experience negotiating terms and conditions with third parties
- P&L ownership with demonstrable experience of cost savings in challenging environments
- Expertise in UK final mile delivery networks
- A clear demonstrable track record of improving courier final mile performance using data to challenge and measure
- Attention to detail and a results-driven mindset
- Excellent leadership and people management experience with strong evidence of building engaged teams
- Proven track record of curating strategic initiatives both short and long term
- Strong problem solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving challenges
- Understanding of Logistics tech systems to be able to engage with technical stakeholders e.g TMS
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating our egoless DNA value daily
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (Google suite, SQL, Power BI, AI)
- Independent right to work in the UK
- Minimum 3 days per week travel between sites (London, Derby, HFDN sites)
- Monthly/BiMonthly travel to Ireland (Dublin)

- Reasonable care of own health, safety as well as others who may be affected by the work activities
- Immediate reporting of incidents
- Active raising of health and safety-related concerns to Line Manager
