Job Summary
Associate Director of Impact Giving responsible for increasing individual, major, and planned giving; acquire, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors; prospect new donors; collaborate with the development team to strengthen Stillwater Hospice’s fundraising capacity; identify and cultivate an assigned portfolio of supporters; conduct prospect research to tailor asks and build stronger relationships; develop and implement strategies for retaining and growing annual giving; represent the organization at internal and external events; adhere to ethics and donors’ rights while planning and executing donor stewardship initiatives. Must be able to travel as needed in the Northeast Indiana region and hold a valid Indiana driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (required)
- minimum five years of demonstrated success in individual and major gift fundraising
- experience in major gift solicitation and obtaining planned giving commitments
- excellent written and oral communication skills
- ability to meet stringent deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- familiarity with fundraising databases; Blackbaud and Raiser's Edge preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (required); Master’s degree preferred
