Job Summary
Associate Director of Donor Engagement and Administration responsible for leading donor engagement strategies, stewardship programs, and operational initiatives for Vanderbilt's School of Engineering campaign. Serves as primary liaison for Engineering Council communications, coordinates meetings/events, maintains donor databases with giving history and engagement records, and develops integrated marketing materials to support capital campaign objectives. Plays a key role in donor communications, relationship management, and ensuring consistency across programs, while supporting major gift officers and coordinating with advancement services. Requires collaboration across DAR, School of Engineering, and university communications, with hybrid work in Nashville (office 1+ days/week).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in development, fundraising, donor relations, stewardship, annual giving, or related field
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and standard office software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong project management and organizational skills
