Job Summary
Manage a portfolio of major gift ($50,000+) prospective donors by independently developing and executing strategies for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Actively solicit prospects using various giving vehicles, including planned gifts, corporate partnerships, and in-kind donations, while meeting established goals for gift closures and prospects met. Strategically organize the Dean's time and resources to establish funding opportunities, donor meetings, and special events. Develop and submit written proposals, budgets, and collateral materials to secure significant ($100K+) philanthropic investments. Work evenings, weekends, and odd hours to meet resource-raising commitments while maintaining an office-centric hybrid schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of professional experience in fundraising, alumni relations, non-profit organizations, event planning, higher education, or related fields
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, or odd hours
- Must be able to work early mornings and late evenings
- Must be able to accommodate meetings, travel, events, and external constituents' schedules
- Must be able to work between one and five days a week in the office
