Job Summary
Oversee the development, implementation, and global governance of environment, health, and safety programs for construction and contractor activities. Provide technical support for contractor safety programs, tools, and training while ensuring regulatory compliance. Lead thorough investigations of incidents and near-misses, driving continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risks and enhance leading indicator performance. Partner with cross-functional teams to establish EHS systems and introduce automated tools for safety analysis. Spend time in the field observing active jobsites, coaching teams, and reinforcing best practices. Ensure innovation with artificial intelligence embeds highest safety considerations and that internal technical standards are consistently applied. Manage projects and programs to balance resources and achieve business targets while minimizing company liability.
Required Qualifications
- EHS related experience in manufacturing/R&D environments
- Bachelor's Degree (EHS related, Engineering) plus 10+ years of EHS related experience
- Master's Degree (EHS related, Engineering) plus 8-10 years of EHS related experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience presenting EHS KPIs to Senior leadership
- Experience with major construction projects and Greenfield sites
- Professional Certifications: e.g., Project management
- Certifications within Environmental, health, safety and construction
- EHS Professional certification
