Job Summary

Associate Director of Compliance focused on employee benefits. Serves as a trusted compliance advisor to clients and internal teams, providing guidance on health and welfare compliance matters including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, Section 125, MHPAEA. Partners with Client Experience Teams to identify and address compliance risks, develops client-facing resources and educational content, and delivers presentations, webinars, and training. Monitors regulatory developments, translates complex requirements into actionable guidance, and collaborates with internal SMEs, external counsel, and carrier partners to support client needs and ensure accurate guidance. Supports development and maintenance of compliance tools, templates, assessments, and resources; demonstrates commitment to continuous learning and collaboration within a high-performing team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3–5 years of direct health and welfare employee benefits compliance experience required
  • Experience providing compliance consulting to employer-sponsored group health plan clients in brokerage/consulting/legal/carrier/TPA environments preferred
  • Working knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, Section 125, MHPAEA, and other health and welfare requirements
  • Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate into practical guidance
  • Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Some travel may be required
