Job Summary
Oversee compliance programs for affordable housing properties; lead audits and internal monitoring of regulatory agreements; manage revenue contracts with HUD, SFHA, HSH, and similar agencies; develop training and materials for property management staff; supervise Compliance team; coordinate cross-department efforts to ensure regulatory and funding program adherence; provide expert guidance on TCAC/HUD/HCD requirements; ensure occupancy and income credentialing standards are met; drive lease-up and revenue optimization in a multi-property portfolio; maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and stay current on applicable regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in monitoring Tax Credit programs
- Seven (7) years’ experience in property management/compliance management/asset management
- Three (3) years' of supervisory experience
- Certified Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) or Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS)
- Knowledge of TCAC, HUD, MOHCD, HCD, and other guidelines/programs
- Excellent organizational, administrative, financial, and communication skills (written and oral)
- Demonstrated experience with low-income populations
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Yardi Voyager
