Job Summary
Lead perioperative clinical services across Epworth Freemasons’ operating theatres and related units (CSSD, Day of Surgery Admissions, Short Stay Unit) with a focus on theatre utilisation, growth, risk management, and delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care. Oversees nursing and clinical workforce, drives operational performance and cost efficiency, and builds engaged teams through change and continuous improvement. Requires postgraduate qualification in Perioperative nursing and/or management (highly desirable) and current RN registration with AHPRA; relocation support available for approved candidates. Locations include Epworth Freemasons in East Melbourne with in-person duties; reports to the Associate Director of Clinical Services (Perioperative).
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative nursing and/or management is highly desirable
