Associate Director of Annual Giving and Strategic Events

Job Summary
Lead planning and execution of association-wide fundraising events and sponsorships; drive annual giving campaigns across branches; cultivate donors and prospects; collaborate with senior leadership and department partners; track performance and reporting; ensure data integrity in donor management systems; support coordination with Finance, Marketing & Communications, Operations, and branch teams to maximize donor engagement and fundraising outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2-5 years of nonprofit fundraising, annual giving, donor engagement, or related field
- Comfortable making direct asks and engaging donors in conversations about giving and impact
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with a donor-centered approach
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Raiser’s Edge or CRM systems preferred
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into action
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends during campaign and event seasons
- Self-starter with initiative, curiosity, and a passion for the YMCA’s mission
