Job Summary
The Associate Director of Anesthesiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai will oversee clinical operations, take responsibility for coordinating the operating room, and handle overnight calls. The candidate should have extensive training in anesthesiology, strong clinical and interpersonal skills, and be prepared to take on administrative responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- ACGME approved residency training in Anesthesiology
- Board certified by the ABA or in the process of certification
- Valid New York State License
- Valid DEA and Medicaid number
- Strong clinical abilities
- Communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with public health systems
Additional Requirements
- Must be competent in arterial line, central line placement, TAP block, and other peripheral nerve block as needed
