Job Summary
Associate Director of the Alumni/Attorney Mentor Program within the Career Development Office. Responsible for overseeing and managing the Alumni/Attorney Mentor Program, promoting attorney engagement, and providing resources and support to students and attorneys. Develop and implement a vision for mentoring and alumni engagement to enhance the student experience and employment outcomes. Lead activities such as coordinating mock interviews, maintaining alumni engagement databases, delivering trainings and workshops on self-initiated job search, interviewing, and networking, preparing materials and communications, and collaborating with campus departments. Requires JD and at least three years of legal practice; strong project management, presentation, and communication skills; ability to build relationships with alumni, mentors, students, and external partners; ability to design and deliver programming to support career development in a law school context. Location is San Francisco, CA with on-site/hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- JD degree
- at least three years of legal practice
- Demonstrated experience in group presentations and materials
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of legal employment market in California
- Experience counseling/mentoring law students or junior attorneys
- Experience working with diverse communities
- Coaching certification (preferred)
