Job Summary
Clinical lead within the development organization focused on nephrology and immune-mediated kidney diseases. Responsible for contributing to Clinical Development Plans aligned with regulatory requirements, supporting study design, endpoints, and statistical considerations, translating data into program strategy, and providing medical oversight of trial execution, safety, CROs, and investigators. Participate in regulatory submissions (IND/CTA) and interactions with health authorities, KOLs, and advisory boards; represent the company at investigator meetings and scientific conferences. Collaborate across Non-clinical Development, Clinical Pharmacology, Clinical Operations, Regulatory, and Data Science to support program development and decision-making. Contribute to authorship of clinical documents (protocols, IBs, CSRs) and scientific publications; develop training materials for CROs and study sites. Requires MD with nephrology expertise, experience in clinical trial methodology and regulatory requirements, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, small-company environment. Based out of Wellesley, MA with international/domestic travel as needed. Salary ranges reflect Associate Director/Director levels: Associate Director $187,500–$254,000; Director $205,000–$276,000, plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- MD (or international equivalent) required
- Board certification in Nephrology (or Internal Medicine with nephrology subspecialty training) strongly preferred
