Associate Director, Media Strategy

Job Summary
Lead the development, implementation, and activation of media recommendations through hands-on work and delegation. Develop measurement plans with the analytics team, synthesize media performance data to inform client conversations, and extract actionable insights to guide team optimizations. Manage day-to-day operations for assigned accounts, ensuring quality deliverables while overseeing media stewardship and communication. Make quick decisions to maintain workflow, solve gaps in account checks and balances, and develop scalable processes for agency execution. Present strategies to senior internal and external stakeholders and educate junior team members on campaign execution.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of agency experience specific to media planning and buying
- working knowledge of paid search
- working knowledge of paid social
- working knowledge of programmatic
- Creativity in developing a holistic media plan
- critical thinking skills to provide rationale
- ability to see the big picture
- At least 2+ years of mid-sized team management
- cross-department collaboration
- Understanding of digital tracking concepts
- Understanding of digital media trafficking process
- Understanding of DCM or other ad servers
- Proficiency in Gmail
- Proficiency in Drive
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications
- Relocation assistance may be provided
