Job Summary

Associate Director of Marketing Research & Analytics for US Specialty (Lupron and Liletta) will design, implement, manage, analyze, and effectively communicate marketing research and analytics initiatives across Lupron and Liletta franchises on behalf of APEX. Will derive high-impact learnings from qualitative and quantitative primary and secondary research, behavioral analytics, market and competitive intelligence, and internal stakeholder initiatives; partner across APEX verticals as well as with Brand partners, Medical partners and external agencies to inform strategic and tactical decision-making. Responsibilities include acting as an intelligence partner, identifying research opportunities, leading custom research projects, synthesizing learnings across sources to develop actionable insights, maintaining knowledge of market trends, designing measurement plans, coordinating monthly program performance assessments, managing data strategy for agile analytics, leveraging sophisticated analytic models, collaborating cross-functionally to inform performance expectations, building relationships as a team player, managing and developing direct reports, balancing business needs with strategic projects, and promoting proactive communication while ensuring ethical compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree required (US equivalent)
  • Advanced degree (MA, MS, MBA, PhD) preferred
  • 10+ years marketing research and/or analytics experience required
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry and pharmaceutical data (physician-level prescribing, institutional sales data, payer-prescriber-level data, formulary data, patient-level data, etc.) required
  • Analytical reasoning abilities, intellectual curiosity, strong business acumen, meticulous attention to detail, and creativity in problem-solving
  • Ability to interact effectively with/present to all levels of the organization
  • Proven experience as an integral member of a high-performing work team
  • Experience with and strong aptitude navigating a heavily matrixed and fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
