Job Summary
Develop and implement category strategies for indirect goods and services, analyzing spend, market trends, and supply risks to secure multi-million-dollar savings and mitigate risks. Build strong supplier relationships, manage performance through KPIs and scorecards, and lead cross-functional councils to align the supply base with a five-year pipeline. Execute sourcing activities, lead tendering and negotiations over US$500K, and drive total cost of ownership improvements while ensuring compliance with governance frameworks. Provide strategic direction to Sourcing Managers and engage internal stakeholders across Legal, HR, and Finance to translate business requirements into sourcing strategies. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years in procurement, fluency in English and German, with 20% travel expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, or related discipline
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management roles
- Demonstrated success in developing category strategies and managing supplier relationships
- Experience in performance monitoring, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration
- Experience of multi-site organizations
- Fluency in English and German
- 20% travel expected
