Job Summary
Associate Director leads multiple life sciences market access and pricing strategy projects for pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and diagnostic clients, overseeing project teams, developing and communicating pricing and reimbursement strategies across product development stages, and facilitating executive-level client engagements. Responsibilities include overseeing deliverables, managing client relationships and project budgets, designing market access strategies, handling primary interviews with payers/KOLs, and building Excel-based financial models. Preferred candidates have deep experience with pricing methodologies, health economics, and market access policy knowledge, and can mentor/jump-start junior staff. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in science/biomedical engineering/business/healthcare policy and 6+ years in market access/reimbursement/pricing or related roles, plus 3+ years in client management; strong communication skills and proficiency with MS Office align with daily interactions with senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, a major course of study in science, biomedical engineering, business, or healthcare policy preferred
- 6+ years of transferable consulting or relevant biotechnology/pharmaceutical work experience in market access, reimbursement, pricing, and/or health economics
- 3+ years of direct experience in client management and content delivery roles
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including drug development and launch
- Experience developing, designing, and executing qualitative and quantitative market research
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
