Job Summary
Develop and evolve Illumina's enterprise learning and capability development strategy by translating business priorities and talent frameworks into scalable development solutions. Architect a modern learning ecosystem integrating instructor-led training, digital learning, coaching, and AI-enabled tools to support organizational transformation. Lead an integrated portfolio of learning experiences, prioritizing investments based on business value and workforce needs while establishing governance and measurement approaches. Partner with Talent Management and HR Business Partners to assess capability gaps and build leadership readiness, succession plans, and internal mobility programs. Manage strategic relationships with external vendors, consultants, and content providers to ensure alignment with enterprise standards. Define learning architecture, design principles, and quality standards that create consistent, inclusive, and engaging employee experiences across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 15 years of related experience
- 7+ years of Management experience
- 8+ years of experience in Talent Development, Capability Development, Learning & Development within a global, matrixed organization
- Demonstrated success designing and implementing enterprise learning or capability development strategies that align with business priorities
- Experience building scalable learning ecosystems, performance support resources, and capability solutions using digital, blended, and AI-enabled approaches
- Experience building blended learning solutions that incorporate instructor-led learning, digital learning, coaching, performance support, and knowledge resources
- Experience managing external learning vendors, consultants, and strategic partnerships
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, leadership development, capability building, and organizational change
- Experience leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders in support of enterprise initiatives
- Strong consulting, communication, and project management skills with the ability to translate business needs into effective learning solutions
- Strong AI fluency and familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or other AI-enabled workplace tools and their application to employee learning and productivity
- Experiences with enterprise learning technologies such as Workday Learning, LinkedIn Learning, and similar platforms
- Experience developing knowledge management resources or employee enablement content
- Advanced degree or professional certification in Organizational Development, Learning & Development, Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business, or a related field
- Experience supporting enterprise transformation, digital transformation, or organizational change initiatives
