Job Summary
Associate Director, IT Business Partner for Commercial leads application capabilities across Sales, Marketing, Thought Leader Liaisons, Operations, Advanced Analytics, Business Development and Communications, overseeing CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms. Drives agile delivery, roadmaps, and lifecycle management; acts as product owner/delivery lead for key Commercial technology platforms; ensures regulatory compliance (data privacy and security); requires 8+ years in a technical/digital role, familiarity with Veeva and Salesforce platforms, and strong collaboration across cross-functional teams. Boston-area hybrid role with occasional travel (~10%) and remote-work flexibility for exceptional candidates.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in a technical, digital role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
- Experience withCommercial systems and business processes
- Experience with Veeva’s Commercial suite (CRM, Vault PromoMats, Network, OpenData)
- Experience with Salesforce.com Platform including Life Sciences Cloud, Marketing Cloud and/or Experience Cloud is a plus
- Experience serving as a product owner, delivery lead, or scrum master for enterprise technology initiatives
- Working knowledge of agile and iterative delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid)
- Proven ability to balance run vs. build, delivery capacity, and demand prioritization in a regulated environment
- Strong communication and relationship-management skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and actionable plans
- Experience collaborating with vendors and internal delivery teams to plan and deliver solutions
