Job Summary
Lead the GCC Workday Financials Support Team, transitioning them from administrative functions into a scalable systems support engine. Drive the transition of Record-to-Report, Source-to-Pay, and Lead-to-Cash tasks from global markets into the GCC, acting as the primary recipient of knowledge transfer to create robust runbooks. Oversee ticket triaging and resolution for Workday Financials support, ensuring SLA compliance and escalating system defects to global leads. Provide tactical Hypercare support during concurrent country go-lives and serve as the Global Process Owner for the Workday Financials implementation. Standardize and optimize financial processes while partnering with global finance leaders, HR, and external partners to meet business requirements. Report to the Head of Finance Capability Center with shifts from 13:00 pm to 10:00 pm IST.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in finance transformation, ERP implementation, and leading F&A teams and/or GCC support function for a multinational organization
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA, MBA Finance)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Deep, practical expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Proven track record of leading accounting operations within a Global Capability Center (GCC) or Shared Services environment
- Prior Experience of leading an ERP/Workday Implementation as a Finance & Accounting SME/Project Manager/Consultant for a Multinational or a Global organization
- Strong familiarity with global financial consolidation tools, specifically Tagetik or similar enterprise solutions
- 13:00 pm to 10:00 pm IST (8:30 am to 5:30 pm CET)
- Flexibility of shift timing will be required based country roll-out plans for the Workday implementation
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Workday Financial Management is highly ideal
- Experience or in depth knowledge of R2R, S2P and L2C functional areas
- Hands-on experience with Workday Financial Management is ideal, preferably with active involvement in an implementation or major upgrade
