Job Summary
Lead cross-functional teams and international affiliates to generate brand strategies, competitive readiness plans, and executable marketing tactics that deliver business results. Analyze product, market, and financial data to optimize annual plans and long-range forecasts while monitoring program activities within budgeted constraints. Direct research efforts on primary projects, segment markets, and position target audiences effectively to drive share impact and ROI. Ensure regulatory and compliance guidelines are followed while managing projects to meet deadlines and commitments. Engage with Area and Affiliate Brand Team leaders to influence consensus and drive change management in a matrixed organization. Travel at least 15%.
Required Qualifications
- Strong leadership competencies, specifically in terms of influence management, effectively gaining consensus for new approaches, leading through ambiguity and effectively handling multiple partners
- Proven expertise in interpersonal change management & culture change
- Strong business writing and oral communication skills with experience in presentation development
- Outstanding social skills with emphasis on leadership, relationship development and influence skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Skilled at planning, project management, time management, communicating, decision-making, organizational relations
- Ability to engage with and motivate Area and Affiliate Brand Team leaders
- Willingness to travel at least 15%
- Experience in the analysis of financial and market results to optimize business plans
- Ability to assist in the development of financial plans (Annual plans and LRP)
- Monitors and leads International marketing programs and activities within budgeted constraints
- Demonstrates ability to segment a market, select optimal target audiences and position effectively for the target segment
- Continually evaluates and applies knowledge of the effectiveness (share impact/ROI) and efficiency (expense control) of promotional tactics
- Effectively directs research team efforts in primary research projects
- Understands the healthcare business environment including familiarity with International markets and payers, distribution channels, and pricing strategies
- Ensures that regulatory and compliance guidelines are followed
