Job Summary
Associate Director / Senior Associate Director, Internal Communications and Employee Engagement lead within Burson London’s Corporate & Public Affairs division. Lead end-to-end employee engagement programmes, translate complex business challenges into clear, compelling strategies, manage multi-client accounts, and advise senior stakeholders. Design and deliver strategic narratives and campaigns, oversee content and channel strategies, ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, mentor junior staff, contribute to business growth through pitches, and apply innovative thinking including digital platforms and AI to enhance employee engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in an agency environment (essential)
- Proven ability to lead and deliver employee engagement or internal communications programmes
- Experience managing multiple clients and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong strategic and creative thinking skills; ability to translate business challenges into engaging communication strategies
- Excellent writing, storytelling and presentation skills with a focus on employee-centred content
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders including HR, internal communications, digital and leadership teams
- Ability to contribute to pitches and support new business growth
- Experience leading and developing teams; commercial and operational delivery understanding
- Comfortable acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
