Job Summary
Conduct market research studies focused on Healthcare Providers and Consumers to support Gilead's HIV US commercialization efforts. Manage project objectives, vendor selection, data collection, and analysis while developing compelling presentations of insights for Brand Leadership and Senior Management. Collaborate with Analytics, Forecasting, and Brand teams to compile sales data, interpret market trends, and recommend corrective actions. Present findings to senior leadership, tailoring communications to maximize influence across diverse stakeholders. Work in an individual contributor capacity within the HIV Prevention business unit, integrating insights from disparate sources to provide a comprehensive market viewpoint.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ten Years' Experience
- Masters' Degree
- Eight Years' Experience
- PhD
- Two Years' Experience
- The ability to meaningfully portray and effectively communicate complex quantitative data in an easy-to-understand format
- Experience designing and conducting quantitative and qualitative primary and secondary market research
- Demonstrated ability to ramp quickly and acquire in-depth knowledge and experience in a complex market
- Experience with global Sales and Marketing organizations
- Experience with pharmaceutical data sources
- Must have strong task management skills to include planning, prioritization, objective setting, and meeting management and plan execution
- Ability to develop a market research commercial strategy in support of both in-line products and product launch
- Ability to operate in ambiguous situations and determine focused objectives and a clear path forward in the face of open questions
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to lead, interact with, influence others, focus, resolve conflict and drive consensus among individuals from a variety of cultures and disciplines
- Strong communication and presentation skills with an ability to efficiently and productively communicate both orally and in writing both to peers and senior management
- Ability to travel up to 10% of time
