Job Summary
Associate Director, Americas Cloud & Data Center Lead at Eisai is responsible for the design, engineering, and operations of hosting infrastructure across on-premise datacenter, AWS, and Azure. Partners with Global Cloud & Data Center Lead to align with strategy and ensure solutions and operating model meet business priorities across the Americas while maintaining compliance with GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and applicable global regulations. Supports operationalization of Eisai’s Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) and Global Capability Center (GCC) in Vizag, India. Manages a 60+-person team, 10+ million-dollar budget, and vendor relationships; drives cloud financial governance (FinOps), cost optimization, tagging taxonomies, and chargeback/showback. Leads architecture across Americas, enforces global standards and landing zones, champions Infrastructure as Code and automation, and collaborates with global teams to evolve standards and roadmaps. Oversees 24x7 hosting operations, disaster recovery, SOC/SLAs, and regulatory compliance; provides regional input into GCC capacity planning and service evolution; and guides resource planning, talent development, and continuous improvement aligned with Eisai’s hhc philosophy.
Required Qualifications
- College diploma or university degree in computer science, information science, management information systems, or business administration or related field (or equal years of experience)
- 8+ years of overall experience in information technology
- 3+ years of experience as a cloud Architect
- AWS / Azure Solutions Architect Certifications
- ITIL Foundation certified
- Strong communication skills
