Job Summary
The Associate Director of Information Technology Services (ITS) will assist the Departmental Director in managing the Union’s datacenter and core infrastructure. Responsibilities include overseeing enterprise server systems, virtualization platforms, storage, and backup systems while ensuring infrastructure security and disaster recovery readiness. The role requires strategic planning and coordination with vendors, alongside providing technical support to member conferences and institutions. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management or a related field, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience managing systems operations and expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and IT certifications.
Required Qualifications
- BS/AS degree in Information Systems Management or related field
- Minimum of five years’ experience managing systems operations, datacenters and infrastructure environments
- Working knowledge of infrastructure security best practices
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Hyper-V
- Five years’ SDA organizational experience managing an IT department
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise servers
- Experience with virtualization, storage, and backup solutions
- IT Certifications (MSCE, MCSA, MCTS, Network+, Security+)
