Job Summary
Lead strategic competitive intelligence activities for a key asset within Takeda's Immunology portfolio by developing and executing CI plans, delivering actionable insights on competitor activities, and managing external vendors. Coordinate CI efforts at major scientific conferences, including pre-conference planning and on-site intelligence gathering, while synthesizing complex data into compelling narratives for senior leadership. Partner with cross-functional teams to align outputs with business needs, support investor relations preparation, and lead market research projects such as promotional effectiveness studies. This hybrid role in Cambridge, MA requires reporting to the Director of Market Research and Competitive Intelligence, with up to 15% travel for US conferences.
Required Qualifications
- B.A./B.S. scientific or commercial education
- 7+ years of progressive responsibility in competitive intelligence or related field in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry
- Proven record of innovation and capability building within CI, including AI integration experience
- Matrix stakeholder management experience
- Up to 15% for US based conferences
