Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding, including drafting job descriptions, scheduling interviews, and managing pre-joining requirements. Lead the department by creating and auditing HR policies, administering time and attendance, and maintaining accurate personnel files. Mediate employee relations issues, manage disciplinary investigations, and supervise HR Coordinators, Recruiters, and Onboarding Specialists. Represent the agency in unemployment, disability, and workers' compensation matters while fostering a positive work environment. Manage employee benefit enrollment and transition staff from probationary to permanent status.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong computer skills
- Successful administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with complex calendar management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, etc.)
