Associate Director, HRBP, Personal Banking

Job Summary
Partner with business leaders to diagnose organizational structure, role definition, and talent challenges while consulting on key initiatives and driving change across the Personal Banking division. Lead the design and implementation of talent initiatives, manage annual talent cycles including performance and compensation reviews, and project manage organizational change and effectiveness programs. Provide data-driven advice to inform business and talent decision-making, validate talent gaps through root cause analysis, and execute change management plans to socialize HR policies and procedures. Coach managers to sustain change and act as a trusted advisor on talent policies and industry best practices to optimize the employee experience and support business outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate business degree
- 8+ years of progressive work experience in HR, consulting or an HRBP capacity
- People management experience
- Ability to work strategically with leaders
- Expertise in organizational design and effectiveness
- Broad understanding of all HR disciplines and HR program practices
- Strong consulting, critical thinking and analytical capabilities
- Ability to lead a program with multiple projects and complex deliverables
- Confidence interacting with senior leaders, and being comfortable challenging their thinking
- Confidence in communicating, influencing and coaching employees and people leaders
- Strong systems thinking and the ability to identify solutions and associated impacts
- Strong impact and influence skills, with the ability to flex to different communication styles
- Demonstrated ability to execute quickly, effectively and consistently
- Exceptional collaborative working abilities and experience
- Action oriented, with the ability to manage and drive through ambiguity as needed
- Curious mindset on use of tech and data to advance the HR function and employee experience
Desired Qualifications
- Consulting experience, preferable
- Experience with transformation, project management, agile methodology and change management would be an asset
