Job Summary
Lead and oversee the Parents as Teachers (PAT) and Healthy Families America (HFA) home visiting programs, ensuring fidelity to models and grant compliance; supervise Family Case Managers; coordinate program operations; develop partnerships and manage referrals to behavioral health and other social services; monitor data systems and reporting; train staff on data entry and screening tools; ensure timely home visits and documentation; collaborate with senior leadership on funder reports and outcomes; require a BA in a related field, supervisory experience, CPR/First Aid, and willingness to travel within the DC area.
Required Qualifications
- B.A. in Human Services related field (social work, early childhood education, family studies, and/or psychology) or equivalent professional experience.
- Valid CPR & First Aid Certification.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in public health and/or human services field.
- Ability to conduct home visits.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle required, as well as proof of auto insurance.
- Demonstrated cultural competence in communicating with underserved, diverse populations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with computers and electronic health records.
- Knowledge of community resources or the ability to become knowledgeable.
- Ability to establish and maintain trusting relationships with families.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, problem solving and cross-cultural sensitivity skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Ability to travel between sites required and/or as needed.
