Associate Director, Global Procurement - (IT & Professional Services)

Job Summary
Drive category management and procurement activities across IT and Professional Services for Clorox's global operations, including US, Canada, LATAM, and AMEA, with approximately $650M in annual spend responsibility. Create a vision for Global IT and Professional Services Procurement, implement strategies across subcategories, and negotiate competitive contract terms to maximize return on investment. Build and develop a global team of eight procurement professionals, overseeing training, contract audits, spend analysis, and competitive bidding processes while managing vendor and stakeholder relationships. This Associate Director role serves as a thought leader within the Global Sourcing organization, fostering collaboration across departments to drive procurement excellence and deliver measurable results with clear KPIs.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10 years progressive procurement experience
- At least 5 years of experience leading a team of high-performing procurement professionals
- Experience practicing best-in-class procurement processes (strategic sourcing management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, etc.)
- Work experience in an international environment and matrixed organizations
- Results oriented individual with solid proven track record in delivering value (cost and cash)
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and influencing skills
- Ability to creatively solve business problems pragmatically and at speed, working with a high level of independence
- Strong digital fluency with knowledge of and experience with Procurement Tech stacks
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-enabled insights for procurement role, coach teams on effective AI usage, and translate data into tangible outcomes
- Planning and organization skills—Ability to establish work plans, multi-task and prioritize simultaneous projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex business situations clearly
- High degree of fluency in written and spoken English
- B.A. or B.S. Degree in related disciplines (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance), or equivalent experience
- Masters of Business or equivalent preferred
Desired Qualifications
- IT and Professional Services Procurement experience is preferred, but other procurement domains will be considered
