Job Summary
Lead and guide global cross-functional teams on critical strategic market access assessments and evidentiary requirements to optimize prioritized US and global commercialization for Biosurgery MedTech innovation. Proactively partner with Regional HEMA, Global Strategic Marketing, and cross-functional teams to capture Health Technology Assessment strategies, generate coded coverage reimbursement, and develop global economic models, value messaging, and real-world evidence generation. Collaborate with external stakeholders including hospital administrators and surgeons to demonstrate clinical, procedural, and economic value, while fostering alignment across Canada, APAC, EMEA, and LATAM regions. This end-to-end role focuses on blood management and hemostasis, requiring 8-10+ years of experience in healthcare and MedTech, based in Raritan, New Jersey.
Required Qualifications
- Certified advanced degree (MS, MPH, PhD, MHA, MBA) in a healthcare-related field
- health economics, outcomes research or related field
- Minimum of 8-10+ or more years of experience in the healthcare industry
- MedTech preferred
- Demonstrated acumen in developing and executing market access strategies for both access and adoption of innovative technology within the surgical procedural sector
- Demonstrated ability and experience working successfully in matrix environments
- Proven ability to understand business strategy with a broad-based commercial financial acumen
- Strong understanding of HEMA analytical methods, e.g., statistics and economic modelling
- awareness and use of new and evolving digital techniques e.g., Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Intelligent Automation (IA)
- Ability to work from strategy development, execute and derive value creation for MedTech innovation
- comfortable in a dynamic organization delivering value strategies, development and deployment of evidence supported claims
- Experience providing input to pricing strategy, building economic models and tools, executing value-based programs (e.g., VBAs) aligned with evidence and business strategy throughout the product lifecycle
- A strong understanding of medical & surgical service delivery, technology reimbursement, market access conditions and health policy trends in major global markets
- Experience leading health economic or outcomes research studies from concept through to publication
