Job Summary
Associate Director, Global Clinical Physician – Neuroscience role within Clinical Development. Provides medical accountability and oversight for clinical trials (Phase 1–3) in a global network, contributing to protocol development, safety management, site interactions, and health authority communications. Responsible for medical strategy input, education with Clinical Scientists, and leadership of a matrix team overseeing multiple studies. Requires MD and extensive clinical trials experience, with travel (domestic and international) as part of duties. Compensation ranges across locations indicate full-time employment with potential incentives/stock eligibility; onsite/office-based work is described for assigned sites in the US (Madison, Princeton, and Cambridge Crossing). Emphasis on collaboration with Clinical Scientists, engineers medical strategies, and ensures compliance with GCP and regulatory obligations.
Required Qualifications
- MD required
- 3 or more years of Industry experience and/or clinical trials experience is required
- Strong leadership skills and ability to lead in a team environment
- Knowledge of drug development process and regulatory requirements
- Ability to communicate and present information clearly in scientific/clinical settings
- Expertise in clinical plan/protocol design and adjudication of protocol deviations
- Experience with safety management and health authority interactions
- Ability to build relationships with principal investigators and thought leaders
