Job Summary
Associate Director, Gene Therapy Marketing - Japan contact point leads Japanese marketing initiatives for a gene therapy product, develops annual marketing plans, expands the national network of Qualified Treatment Centers (QTCs), manages site identification/contracting/readiness, collaborates cross-functionally with Global/Non-commercial teams, supports patient experience via patient programs, leads congress initiatives and field training, and ensures QTC readiness and timely site activation. Requires BA/BS in life sciences (MBA preferred), 3+ years marketing and 3+ years sales in biopharma, strong collaboration skills, analytical/market research abilities, experience with Market Access and Advisory Boards, ability to work in a start-up environment, travel, and native-level Japanese with fluent English.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BSc degree or equivalent life-sciences qualification required. MBA preferred
- Minimum 3+ years of marketing experience and 3+ Years sales experience in the biopharmaceutical industry
- Native-level proficiency in Japanese, and English writing/listening skills
- Travel will be frequently required
