Associate Director— FP&A & EPM Advisory

Job Summary
Lead the design and activation of FP&A and close & consolidation operating models, including organizational structure, RACI, service delivery models, and performance metrics. Own end-to-end process design and implementation for complex organizations across budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, management reporting, financial close, consolidation, intercompany, and statutory-to-management reporting. Guide EPM platform evaluation and selection, lead implementation enablement across the full delivery lifecycle, and manage change management and adoption. Support the full business development cycle from opportunity identification to close, build client relationships with CFOs, and contribute to practice building. Lead delivery teams spanning consultants through managers, coach on performance and career progression, and play a hands-on role in talent acquisition.
Required Qualifications
- 9+ years of progressive experience across FP&A, financial close and consolidation, finance transformation, or EPM advisory
- 5+ years in a client-serving consulting environment
- Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end FP&A and/or close and consolidation transformations at complex organizations
- Hands-on experience across the EPM lifecycle with at least one leading platform
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
- Willingness to travel up to 45% based on client needs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in professional services (public accounting, advisory firm, or management consulting firm)
- Experience facilitating Kaizen, Human-Centered Design, or other structured workshops
- CPA, CFA, AFP Certified Corporate FP&A Professional, OneStream certifications, PMP, or Prosci/change management certification
- Prior in-house FP&A or controllership experience
- Familiarity with ERP ecosystems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics) and analytics tooling (Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx)
- Exposure to PE-backed portfolio companies, carve-outs, IPO readiness, or post-merger integration
- MBA or master's degree
- OneStream strongly preferred
- Anaplan, Planful, Oracle EPM/Hyperion/FCCS, Workday Adaptive, Pigment, or Cube also relevant
