Associate Director for Housing Operations

Lead the operation, maintenance, and custodial services for the University's residential communities by supervising housing facilities personnel, managing vendor relationships, and coordinating maintenance efforts. Develop preventative maintenance programs, conduct routine inspections, and oversee key/access management while administering operational budgets and monitoring contractor performance. Hire, train, and evaluate custodial supervisors and maintenance employees, establish performance expectations, and manage scheduling and leave. Participate in on-call rotation, respond to after-hours emergencies, and exercise independent judgment during crisis protocols. Collaborate with campus partners, Residence Life staff, and students to ensure safe, functional, and well-maintained living environments.
