Job Summary
Manage regulatory compliance matters across Latin America, including fulfilling reporting obligations, coordinating responses to supervisory inspections, and drafting responses to regulators. Monitor regulatory developments across jurisdictions, report findings to senior management, and facilitate examinations by managing documentation and attending meetings. Assist in ensuring regional operations comply with applicable laws, review policies and procedures, and support conduct-related internal investigations. Coordinate data collection for regulatory reporting using internal governance systems and contribute to departmental initiatives. This role reports to the Compliance Director in Bogotá and requires fluency in Spanish and English. Based in Santiago, Chile, the position involves hybrid work arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- A university degree or equivalent
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess issues and present findings clearly to stakeholders
- Ability to learn and adapt to evolving regulations and develop practical approaches to compliance challenges
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines imposed by regulators and internal stakeholders
- Fluency in both Spanish and English, written and spoken
- Based in Santiago, Chile
Desired Qualifications
- Experience dealing with regulatory agencies and supporting inspections/examinations in a financial services environment
- Experience in a regulated financial services business
- Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance systems
- Portuguese
