Job Summary
Associate Director, Finance Transformation in Private Equity, serving as a trusted partner to premiere PE-backed clients within the Office of the CFO. Responsibilities include leading multi-faceted finance and accounting transformation engagements, overseeing client delivery, facilitating workshops, developing roadmaps of strategic initiatives, applying agile methodologies (scrums, sprints, kanban), building repeatable integration playbooks, conducting current-to-future state process optimization across people, process, technology, and data, and mentoring junior team members. Expertise in Procure-to-Pay, Opportunity-to-Cash, Order-to-Cash, and Record-to-Report processes; familiarity with finance systems and data analytics tools; and ability to drive value creation in fast-paced environments. Travel up to 40% and collaboration across private equity portfolio companies, operating partners, and CFO/Controller stakeholders are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related area of study from an accredited university
- 9+ years’ experience working in a client-facing role at a public accounting firm or equivalent consulting firm
- MBA, CPA, CFA, CSM a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 40%; travel varies based on client preference
