Job Summary
Office-first role based in NYC (4 days in office). Lead Month End Close and Financial Reporting for multiple entities/labels, reviewing complex JEs in SAP, and ensuring timely balance sheet reconciliations. Oversee multi-entity operations, group reporting, and intercompany activities; drive process improvements, SOX compliance, and coordination with external/internal auditors. Mentor junior staff, partner cross-functionally with Legal, Operations, and Label Business Affairs, and contribute to system integrations and finance transformations. Strong leadership, communication, and ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for leadership are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
- 6+ years of accounting experience, including leadership or senior individual contributor capacity
- Experience at a global, publicly traded organization; Big Four background strongly preferred
- Proficiency in SAP preferred
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, intercompany accounting, transfer pricing and SOX compliance
- Ability to lead multi-entity/group reporting and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience with system integrations and finance transformation initiatives
