Job Summary
Associate Director of Field Sales Capabilities Employee Experience at Novo Nordisk leads leadership capability development for field sales teams, translating enterprise and commercial strategy into field-ready leadership standards, coaching quality, and scalable development experiences. The role designs scalable leadership learning journeys, oversees leadership and capability workshops, partners with the ACL and P&O teams to align sales strategy with employee experience, applies performance consulting to diagnose gaps and implement targeted solutions, and collaborates with cross-functional partners to sustain impact at scale. The position requires heavy collaboration, strong leadership development expertise, learning design and measurement, and travel (50-75% overnight). The job can be located anywhere in the US, ideally within the territory, with a base compensation range of $152,700 to $267,300 and eligibility for a company bonus; advanced degree is preferred. Additionally, the role emphasizes translating strategy into behavior change, sustaining leadership capability programs, and ensuring programs are embedded into daily leader routines and performance management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
- 12+ years in pharmaceutical sales, management, and/or sales training experience
- Experience in building organizational capabilities, with demonstrated depth in leadership development, curriculum design, and behavioral capability building
- Proven experience leading sales management and leadership development interventions across first- and second-line leaders
