Job Summary
Associate Director Estimator to support high-profile, large-scale U.S. hyperscale data center campuses. Responsibilities include developing and managing cost plans and estimates from concept to detailed design across geographies, leading quantity takeoffs and cost checks, providing program-level estimating for defined scopes, reviewing contractor pricing, driving benchmarking and cost modeling with historical data, facilitating value engineering, supporting procurement/preconstruction activities, and mentoring junior staff. The role requires a strong preconstruction/estimating background, 7+ years in cost management on large programs, and proficiency with tools like CostX, AutoCAD/Navisworks; salary range $170K-$190K with a hybrid schedule (SF office 2–3 days/week) and travel to Denver, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in construction estimating and cost management on large-scale programs
- Strong preconstruction and estimating background
- Experience with data center or mission-critical construction preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CostX experience; AutoCAD/Navisworks beneficial
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
