Job Summary
Define and evolve Illumina's enterprise talent philosophy, frameworks, and roadmap aligned with business priorities and workforce needs. Own the design, governance, and continuous improvement of core practices including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership assessment. Establish methodologies, decision criteria, and quality standards to ensure consistent, high-quality talent decisions across the global workforce. Partner with HR Business Partners and senior leaders to translate business strategy into scalable development and enablement solutions. Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives by evaluating emerging technologies, automation, and AI capabilities to improve practice effectiveness. Use talent analytics and stakeholder feedback to monitor adoption, quality, and business impact while influencing senior stakeholders on complex design issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 15 years of related experience
- 7+ years of Management experience
- 8+ years of progressive experience in Talent Management within a complex global organization
- Deep expertise designing and governing enterprise talent practices including performance management, succession planning, talent reviews, leadership development, and workforce planning
- Demonstrated success developing enterprise frameworks, operating models, governance structures, and talent methodologies that scale across large organizations
- Recognized subject matter expertise with the ability to influence on talent philosophy, organizational design, and enterprise talent decisions
- Strong strategic thinking with experience translating business strategy into sustainable talent practices and operating models
- Experience leveraging talent analytics, organizational insights, and external benchmarking to evolve enterprise talent strategies
- Proven ability to lead enterprise transformation, influence without authority, and navigate complex matrixed organizations
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and executive consulting skills

Desired Qualifications
