Job Summary

Provide coaching to P&C team members and business leaders on employee relations, employment policy, and people management practices. Establish key toolkits, processes, templates, and procedures for consistent management of employee relations matters across all global office locations. Deliver technical advice and guidance on ER matters while interpreting external legal counsel advice within the context of IFM policy. Engage with external legal counsel on ER matters as required to reduce organizational risk and improve the function's operational expertise. This role supports the People & Culture team in shaping the employee experience and building an organization united by purpose and values.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong ER or employment law background
  • Minimum 8yrs experience
  • Deep experience and knowledge in discipline areas of employee relations
  • Legislation interpretation and application
  • Change management
  • Workplace health & safety
  • Experience in policy interpretation and drafting
  • Australia and cross jurisdictional
  • HR discipline areas such as engagement
  • Culture
  • Leadership development
  • Exceptional ability to build relationships and business partnerships with others
  • Being a credible trusted advisor
  • Strong track record effectively coaching team members and peers
  • Has the courage to challenge others in order to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Relevant post-secondary education
  • Degree in HR Management or Employee Relations
